I started doing hair in 2007 when I left Mercer University and decided pre-med wasn't my path. I’ve always been creative. I love to paint, draw, and basically any other type of art, and I have always loved hanging out with the ladies. So, here we are! It’s almost like it’s not even work. Where is your favorite place to travel? “Take me to the beach, any beach. Salt air and sand with a good cocktail and good book is my happy place. ”
What's your favorite drink? “Diet Dr. Pepper, hands down. If we’re talking alcohol, Tito’s & Soda with an orange slice. “
What's your "go to" outfit? “If you know me, you know I love a fun outfit, it’s hard to choose just one but wether I’m in a t-shirt and jeans, or being extra and over the top- I LOVE to layer my jewelry to take it to the next level.”
What's your favorite restaurant in Columbia? “For dinner, probably Halls or COA- for a quick sandwich during the week, I love Crave or Sully’s Steamers!”
What's on your playlist right now? “Can always expect there to be Carrie Underwood, but lately I’ve been listening to a lot of Lainey Wilson.”
What's something you'd want your clients to know about you? “I’m actually an introvert. Yes- shocker to most. I give my whole self to each and every guest that sits in my chair. If you catch me anywhere besides work I’m pretty quiet and reserved and like to be at home most of the time.“

Warm greetings from Parlour 818! I'm Dalel Gonzalez, your Salon Manager. Originally from the beautiful Puerto Rico, I'm a proud dog mom with a love for all things crochet. My journey has taken me through several states, and along the way, I've had the privilege of working alongside many talented stylists. That experience has brought me to what I truly believe is home here at Parlour 818. I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of this amazing team and am excited to be here for many years to come. As a licensed cosmetologist, I'm dedicated to ensuring you have a wonderful experience with us. Can't wait to welcome you to the salon!

Where is your favorite place to travel? “The Caribbean has to be my favorite place. I do want to visit Italy (hopefully very soon), so I might have a new favorite place after that!”

What's your favorite restaurant in Columbia? “Too new to tell... But I'll be exploring! Tell me your recommendations when you come in!”
What's on your playlist right now? “K-Pop and instrumental interpretations of pop music. Love me a good Candlelight concert!”

Terry Moore- Stylist
HI’ve been providing hair services in Columbia for over a decade now. With my background in Aveda, I learned the importance of shapes and use those skills to sculpt hair through precision cutting. Bringing out someone's natural features is my passion. Balayage and other color techniques enable me to create a customized look for you and your personal style. Where is your dream place to travel? "If I could travel anywhere it would be the United Kingdom. Backpacking through the English and Irish countryside whilst visiting castles and stopping for afternoon tea is a dream."

Hey I’m Haley, I am from Lexington, South Carolina born and raised. I have cheered competitively majority of my life until November of 2022 when I graduated. Doing hair is fun to me because I love to see the smile on people’s faces after they leave my chair feeling beautiful and confident! I am originally from Laurens, South Carolina. Ii moved here to Columbia a little over two years ago, originally to just go to hair school here but found Parlour along the way and fell in love with the salon. Samantha Laaper- Stylist
I grew up on a farm in North Carolina and moved to South Carolina in 2019. I’ve always had a passion for all forms of art from painting to photography and writing, I love having creative outlets and being able to make someone’s day.

Where is your favorite place to travel? “Anywhere with mountains and a good hiking spot! Asheville is my go to for tattoos and a little vacation, but I love to explore new places.”
What's your favorite drink? “Iced coffee or southern sweet tea and I count that as my daily water intake.”
What's your "go to" outfit? “A black turtle neck is my staple piece - it goes with everything and 99% of the time you’ll catch me wearing a pair of vans.”
What's your favorite restaurant in Columbia? “I’m a sandwich girl at heart - Crave, Sully’s Steamers, and Bruegger’s Bagels are my top picks throughout the week.”
